MT4 Desktop Terminal (Windows & Mac)

Step 1: Download the installer

• On the MT4 page, select Download MT4 to get the setup file for your device.

Step 2: Install MT4

• Open the downloaded file (.exe for Windows / .dmg for Mac).
• Follow the installation prompts.
• When installation is complete, launch MT4 from your Desktop/Start Menu (Windows), or Applications folder (Mac).

Step 3: Log in to your trading account

• Select the XMTrading trading server that matches your account (you will find the server in your welcome email or in the Members Area under Account Information).
• Enter your MT4 login and password (see our guide: “How to log in to MetaTrader 4 (MT4)” for details).
• Click Login to start trading.

MT4 WebTrader

Step 1: Open WebTrader

• On the MT4 page, select Launch WebTrader.

Step 2: Log in

• Choose the XMTrading MT4 server that matches your account (listed in your welcome email or in the Members Area under Account Information).
• Enter your MT4 login details and click Login.

You can trade immediately, directly from your browser (no installation required).

MT4 Mobile App (iOS & Android)

Step 1: Download the app

• On the MT4 page, select Download MT4 and you will be redirected to the App Store or Google Play.

Step 2: Install & open the app

• Install the MT4 app and open it on your mobile device.

Step 3: Log in

• Tap Login to an existing account.
• Search for XMTrading and select the correct server (listed in your welcome email or in the Members Area under Account Information).
• Enter your MT4 login and password.

You can now trade and monitor markets from anywhere.

MT4 from the Members Area

You can also download MT4 directly after logging into your Members Area.

Step 1: Log in to the Members Area

1. Access the Members Area.
2. Enter your email address and password.

Step 2: Go to the Platforms section

1. In the left-hand menu, click Platforms.
2. You will see MT4 grouped by device type, such as:

• PC / MAC
• SMARTPHONES
• TABLET

Step 3: Select your device

1. Under the relevant category, click the MT4 version that matches your device:

• MT4 for PC
• MT4 for Mac
• MT4 for Android
• MT4 for iPhone/iPad
• MT4 WebTrader

2. You will be redirected to a dedicated page for that version with platform highlights and a Download or Access button.

Step 4: Download & install

• For desktop (PC/Mac):
Click Download, run the installer, and follow the on-screen setup steps.
• For mobile (Android/iOS):
Click the App Store or Google Play button to install the official MT4 app directly from your device’s store.
• For WebTrader:
Click Access MT4 WebTrader to open it instantly in your browser.
