How to verify your XMTrading profile

Why verification is important

Account verification is required to:

• • Confirm your identity and protect your account from unauthorized use.
• • Comply with international regulatory standards.
• • Unlock bonuses, promotions, and Copy Trading features.
• • Join trading competitions and access the full Members Area.

Step 1: Locate the verification panel

1. 1. Log in to your Members Area.
2. 2. At the top of your homepage, you will see the message: “Verify your account”.
3. 3. Click Verify Now to begin.
4. 4. If you need assistance, click Need Help? for guidance.

Step 2: Enter your profile details

Fill in your personal details as they appear on your official documents:

• • First Name
• • Middle Name (Optional)
• • Last Name
• • Date of Birth
• • Place of Birth
• • Phone Number

Step 3: Provide your residential information

Enter your current residential address:

• • Address
• • City/Town
• • Street Number
• • Postal Code

Once all fields are complete and correct, Click Continue.

Step 4: Provide your tax information

You will be asked to confirm your tax residency:

Are you a US tax resident?

• • If Yes: Please enter your US TIN (Tax Identification Number).
• • If No: Please select your country of tax residency.

Then choose one of the following:

• - If you have a TIN: Enter your TIN in the correct format for that country.
• - If you do not have a TIN: Select the reason why (for example: “The country does not issue TINs”).

Step 5: Complete your Investor profile

To comply with regulatory requirements, please provide your investor-related information:

• • Planned yearly deposit (USD)
• • Purpose of account (e.g. investing, hedging, speculation)
• • Employment status
• • Estimated annual income (USD)
• • Estimated net worth (USD)

Step 6: Upload your verification documents

To fully activate your profile, XMTrading requires:

• • Proof of Identity (POI)
• • Proof of Residence (POR)
• • Selfie (live face verification)

Part 1: Proof of Identity

• • Upload a color copy of a valid government-issued photo ID such as:
• - Passport
• - National ID card
• - Driver’s License

Requirements:

• • All four corners of the document must be visible.
• • Accepted formats: GIF, JPG, PNG, PDF (max 5GB).
• • Screenshots are not accepted.
• • Your Proof of Identity must be different from your Proof of Residence document.

How to upload your Proof of Identity:

1. 1. Go to the Proof of Identity section.
2. 2. Click Start Verification.
3. 3. Follow the prompts to upload a file or take a live photo of the document.
4. 4. On mobile, allow camera access if prompted.

Part 2: Selfie verification

After submitting your Proof of Identity, you will be prompted to take a live selfie for facial verification.

How to take your selfie:

• • Position your face within the oval shown on your screen.
• • The system will automatically capture the photo when your face is correctly aligned.
• • Please remove any accessories around your face (e.g. glasses, hats, masks).
• • Take the photo fully dressed in suitable clothing.

Important:

• • The system captures a wider area than the oval, including your shoulders and upper body.
• • Make sure you are in a well-lit environment.
• • Ensure your face is clearly visible and not obstructed by hair, shadows, or reflections.

Part 3: Proof of Residence

Your Proof of Residence document must:

• • Clearly show your full name, issue date, and full address.
• • Be issued within the last 3 months.
• • Be fully visible (no cropped edges).

Examples of acceptable documents:

• • Utility bill (electricity, water, gas, internet)
• • Bank statement
• • Other official documents showing your name and address (refer to your Members Area for a detailed list).

How to upload your Proof of Residence:

1. 1. Scroll to the Verify Residency section.
2. 2. Upload the chosen document from your device.

Step 7: Submit your documents

Once all documents are uploaded:

1. 1. Click Upload your Documents.
2. 2. If the upload is successful, you will see the message:
   “You’ve successfully uploaded your documents. You will receive a confirmation email shortly.”

Step 8: Wait for confirmation

• • Verification typically takes up to 24 hours.
• • You will receive an email notification once your profile has been approved.

After verification you can:

• • Unlock full trading access to your XMTrading account.
• • Fund your account and start trading.
• • Benefit from bonuses and promotions, where available.
• • Join trading competitions and access the full Members Area experience.

Final tips for smooth verification

To avoid delays or rejections:

• • Use clear, high-quality scans or photos - blurry or dark images may be rejected.
• • Ensure your documents match your registered details (name, date of birth, address).
• • Use different documents for Proof of Identity (e.g. passport) and Proof of Residence (e.g. utility bill).
• • Upload each document in the correct section.
• • For your live selfie, ensure your upper body is visible down to the collarbone and be fully and appropriately dressed.

With these steps complete, your XMTrading profile will be fully verified, secure, and ready for trading.
