As an Investor, you choose the strategies you want to follow and decide how much to invest in each. Any trades that are made or closed within the strategies will be replicated in your portfolio. As a Strategy Manager, you create your own strategies and share them with the community. You then earn a profit share on any profits made by Investors who follow you.
Yes, our Copy Trading platform is not only user-friendly and intuitive, but it also allows new traders to follow more experienced traders. This allows you to participate in the markets while continuing your trading education and developing your own strategies.
As with all types of investment, there is a certain degree of risk. You may lose more than your invested capital if the market moves unfavourably. While the risk can be managed with tools like Stop Loss levels, there is no guarantee that losses will not exceed the limit set.
Before you can follow a strategy, you’ll need to have an Investor Account.
You can open one in the Members Area once your trading account is verified. Simply click the ‘Create Investor’ button on the top right, and your account will be created automatically.
No, any bonuses or credits provided by the company cannot be transferred or used for Copy Trading purposes. Only your actual deposited funds are eligible for Copy Trading transactions.
A minimum balance of $100 across XMTrading accounts is required to create a strategy.
Creating a strategy is simple: go to our Copy Trading platform, click on the ‘Strategy Manager’ button, and then click ‘Create Strategy’. Fill in the details for your trading account and click 'Next.' On the next screen, fill in the strategy details and optionally set a password for your strategy. You can also choose to import history from one of your existing XMTrading accounts.
Your strategy will only be visible to Investors if it has more than $50 in equity.
