As a regulated company, we operate in accordance with a number of compliance-related issues requirements and procedures imposed by our regulatory authorities; the Financial Services Authority (FSA) for TradexFin and the Financial Services Commission (FSC) for Fintrade Limited. Our regulators require us to collect adequate information, including a valid Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Residence (POR) - dated within the last 3 months, from all our clients as part of our Know Your Clients (KYC) procedure.
When opening an XMTrading account, we only ask that you provide 2 documents:
Proof of Identity (POI) - a colour copy of any official documentation issued by a recognized authority. This includes passports (to be valid for at least 3 months), driver’s licenses, and identity cards. The document must include your full name, issue and expiry dates, your date and place of birth or tax identification number, and your signature. Additionally, you will now need to take a live selfie as part of the verification process.
Proof of Residence (POR) - a copy of a recent utility bill (electricity, gas, oil, water, phone, internet, or cable television), or bank account statement (dated within the last 3 months).
